Small Business Internship Program (Opportunity)

Industry Canada’s new Small Business Internship Program (SBIP) provides financial support to small businesses who hire a Student Intern to implement an e-commerce project.
How does it work?
- Submit an SBIP application
- Upon project approval, the employer posts the Student Internship Opportunity at Universities, Colleges and job boards to recruit a post secondary student
- Industry Canada reimburses 75% of the student’s wages & statutory benefits for over a 12 week period
