Business Ambassadors Recognized / New Video Launched (News)
Lt.-Col. Paul Kearney, Commanding Officer at CFB Gagetown’s Joint Meteorological Centre, was named “Business Ambassador of the Year” during the annual Fredericton Business Ambassador Awards ceremony held at City Hall on November 9.
First-place winner David Lee was recognized for his business development and immigration-related initiatives. Second place was awarded to Christopher Murray, the youngest member of the Ambassador program, who traveled with the Long Island Youth Orchestra this summer. Fredericton’s updated promotional video was also launched at the event. Produced by Outreach Productions and entitled “Why We’re Here”, the video features Mayor Brad Woodside and three local business representatives.
